Please read these terms carefully. They govern your use of this website and our barbershop services.

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the One Refined Heritage website at onerefinedheritage.com (the "Site") and the barbershop services we provide ("Services"). By using the Site, booking an appointment, or visiting the shop, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our Services.

Who we are

One Refined Heritage ("we," "us," or "our") is a family-owned barbershop established in 2019 and located in Brandon, Florida.

  • Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 10 AM to 7 PM. Closed Wednesday and Sunday.

Our services

We provide professional grooming services, including haircuts, fades, scissor cuts, beard sculpting, hot-towel straight-razor shaves, and related add-ons, as described on our Services page. Every appointment begins with a consultation so we can understand your style and needs.

Service descriptions, durations, and availability are provided for guidance. Results vary from client to client, and your barber may recommend adjustments during your consultation. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a service when we believe it cannot be performed safely or appropriately.

Appointments & online booking

Appointments are booked through Booksy, an independent scheduling platform. When you click Book Now, Reserve Your Chair, or a similar link on the Site, you leave the Site and enter Booksy's website or app. Your use of Booksy is governed by Booksy's terms of service and privacy policy, which you should review before booking.

An appointment is confirmed when Booksy confirms it. You can also call or text the shop at (813) 538-4317. We make every reasonable effort to honor scheduled times, but occasional delays can occur; we will keep you informed if your barber is running behind.

Cancellations, late arrivals & no-shows

Our time is reserved for you, so please give us as much notice as possible if your plans change. You can cancel or reschedule through Booksy or by calling or texting the shop.

  • Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a fee or a deposit requirement for future bookings, as stated in Booksy at the time of booking.
  • Late arrivals may result in a shortened service or the need to reschedule so that the next client is not delayed.

Pricing & payment

Prices shown on the Site are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price for your visit is the price in effect on the day of service, and any add-ons you request during your appointment are charged in addition to the listed service price.

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept the payment methods available at the shop and through Booksy. Any prepayment or deposit collected through Booksy is handled under Booksy's terms.

Membership

We offer monthly memberships and prepaid annual packages. Benefits, pricing, billing, and cancellation terms are confirmed on Booksy when you enroll. Some plans allow you to gift a visit or share visits with family and friends, as stated in the plan terms. Benefits are not redeemable for cash and unused visits do not carry forward unless the plan says otherwise.

Client responsibilities

To help every visit go smoothly, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact and appointment information
  • Tell your barber about any allergies, skin sensitivities, scalp conditions, or recent chemical treatments before a service begins
  • Arrive on time and treat our barbers, staff, and other clients with courtesy
  • Book appointments for minors as a parent or guardian, and accompany young children during their visit

We reserve the right to refuse or end a service for anyone who behaves in an abusive, unsafe, or disruptive manner.

Website use

You may use the Site to learn about our Services, read our blog, and reach us or Booksy to book. When you use the Site, you agree:

  • Not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose
  • Not to attempt to interfere with the Site's operation, security, or other visitors' use
  • Not to scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the Site without our written permission

The information on the Site, including blog articles about grooming and hair care, is provided for general informational purposes and is not professional medical or dermatological advice.

Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, photographs, logos, graphics, layout, and code, is owned by or licensed to One Refined Heritage and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. The One Refined Heritage name and monogram are trademarks of One Refined Heritage. You may not use them without our written permission.

Third-party services & links

The Site links to third-party websites and services, including Booksy, Google Maps, and social media platforms. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. A link does not constitute an endorsement.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, One Refined Heritage, its owners, barbers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or our Services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Site or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the Services giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or our Services will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from pursuing relief in small claims court for claims that qualify.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site or our Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
